Club Service

Director

Paula Reinhold

Also referred to as Club Administration, former club member and Club Service Director Peggy Wyman sums-up Club Service as follows:

"The definition of Club Service according to the ABC's of Rotary is "involves all of the activities necessary for Rotarian's to perform, to make their club function successfully."  In my opinion, in order for any organization to be successful there must be time for the members to bond as a family and play.  Our Rotary Club has been very successful at this!  We work very hard on our Community Service projects and have fun doing it. This works because we take the time to gather socially and build community.  I called myself the social director, when I was committee chair for Club Service.  We met for social dinners every other month at various community restaurants, we took the ferry to a Giants game, had a wonderful Christmas party with a Hawaiian theme and yes, there was a hula contest!  In past years we've attended plays in  San Francisco and had great parties in barns.  We acknowledge birthdays and anniversaries with cards (also fines!) and support each other in the sad moments that are a part of life.  We truly are a family that works together, plays together and stays together!  That is the role of Club Service in Rotary."
