The Interact Club of Mountain Shadows Middle School
The Club has been meeting for over three years and has accomplished many tasks. Meetings are held everyother Thursday at noon. Mountain Shadows Interact has organized and worked on creek cleanup projects, sang Christmas carols to senior citizens, collected over twenty thousand (20,000) cans for food drives, and most recently collected stuffed animals for tsunami victims as well as local police agencies and homeless shelters. The middle school interact club is made up of 12 members who range in age from 11 to 14 years. The members typically don't hang out together nor have many classes together. What they do have in common however, is the desire to help others. |
