Interact at Rancho Cotate High School

With standing room, only more than 40 high school students participate in weekly meetings and activities at the Ranch. Interact meets Monday's at 12:05 PM in Room B1. The students actively participate in various local service projects.
Interact plans many of its own activities and helps the Rotary Club of Rohnert Park - Cotati with the Thanksgiving Food Drive, Christmas Toy Drive, planting at the library in Rohnert Park, and quilt making for the homeless. They select and work on other projects as well, including, Cotati Creek restoration project, Russian River clean up, Habitat for Humanity, Bowling for Kid's Sake, Big Brothers - Big Sisters Christmas cards for our troops, caroling for seniors at Westlake Springs, tutoring at John Reed Elementary School, the Relay for Life and the Fishing Derby.
Past Interact President Melissa Smuck, won the Nestle scholarship program and donated $1000.00 back to the Rotary Club to help other students. Other former Interact members have formed the Almost Free Money Scholarship program for Rancho Cotate High School.
Our Rotary Club provides funding for Interacters to attend the annual Conference at Alliance Redwoods in March.
