Rotary Club Advisors: Pat Miller

Club Projects 2008-2009

• Second year supporting Brian, an orphan in Uganda.  The funds raised will provide housing, food and an education for one year.   The students raised $900 while enjoying a movie night at Tech High.  Tech High is committed to support Brian until he becomes an adult.  (currently age 13)
• Participated in the wrapping and delivery of Christmas gifts for the Rotary Holiday Toy Drive
• Helped removed old playground equipment at "H" Park and removed shrubs.
• The club members made popcorn bags for the children receiving toys at the Toy Drive.
• Christmas cards were made and sent for soldiers in Iraq
• The club members volunteered at the Sonoma Mt. Art & Wine Festival by helping children create greetings cards
• Quilting project
• 40 loaves of banana bread where baked & decorated for the seniors at the senior center.
• Upcoming Project:  Children without Voices

Club member Kevin Miller attended the 2008 Interact Conference at Redwood Alliance Conference Grounds, Occidental, CA.  Kevin made his mark on his peers, receiving the honor of "Most Inspirational" attendee.  Way to go Kevin!!!
